Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC)
Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) came into existence in 1948, as the first multipurpose river valley project of independent India.
DVC has five thermal power stations, three hydro-electric power stations and one gas turbine station that contribute to a total installed capacity of 2797 MW. It has 60 sub-stations and more than 5500-circuit km of transmission and distribution lines.It has also four dams, a barrage and a network of canals that play an effective role in water management.
The total manpower of D.V.C is 11169, and has an efficient team of 10 H.R executives.
