HRD Club - Minutes of the meeting held on 4.2.03
1. During the presentation cum discussion before Secretary (Power) on HR on 30.1.2003 at PMI Noida, it was decided that a HRD Club may be formed by PSUs under the control of Ministry of Power Govt. of India in which Director (HR) and ED(HR)/ second in command of each of the PSU be the members. It was suggested that the senior most Director (HR) amongst the PSUs will take the lead in formation of the club. However, Director (HR) , NTPC enabled to convene the first meeting of the HRD Club on 04.02.2003 at 7.00 PM at NTPC Guest House, A-5, Niti Bagh, New Delhi.

3. In the first meeting the agenda kept for discussion was as under:
- The constitution, scope and bye laws of
the HRD club and other related issues.
- Common written test for recruitment of
Trainees in executive Cadre.
- Corporate social responsibility.
- Benchmarking on work culture, Best HR
Practices etc.
- Any other issue.
